villain is running 37/17/2.4 over 80ish hand is a bad player. He doubled up thru me after calling a 3b OOP, hitting a lower set on flop and one outering me on river.

Is my bet sising ok? and river is an easy fold rite?

Really, drmc? I think QJTx is a much smaller portion of his range than XXss. It's a possibility, but not too much moreso than T9xx (assuming villian is bad, as we've been told).

As to the original question, how did Villian play post-flop? I guess I'm looking for reads here range than just numbers. Did he call a lot? Did he take draws too far? How did he play the previous set?

I'd tend to bet bigger than you did, particularly on the turn. It's a matter of betting as much as you think he'll frequently call, and unless your answers to the above indicate otherwise, I'd expect this guy to pay off bigger bets.

just pot the flop and turn, really no reason to do otherwise

river seems like a trivial sigh and fold, get used to doing it

yeah river looks like a fold to me. its very bad for him to be attempting to rep a flush without one OOP after c/calling flop and turn. any timing tells on the river bet? just out of intersest

He didnt insta bet but it was pretty fast. The set he check raised and we got it in on the flop set over set from the previous hand.

Results: I did fold on the river.

not sure how many non T9s with no spades are in his flop calling range, plus he has KTxx a lot less than normal - but if he bluffed with it good for him, and our read is wrong. I'm not sure if you're saying that or that it's the worlds worst value bet ever but if that's the case we get the money all day unless he leaves.
