What do you guys think?
I think 1st hand was too slow played, but it turned out ok, as I get the max possible from it.
2nd one I could have played like the first one, but I'm allways afraid of people drawing on my good hands This must be a leak :P

Hand 1 raise pre flop. You may not have the best hand now, but you only need to have the best hand more than 14% of the time at the river with 7 players to make this a profitable raise.

Bet the flop. there are 7 players. people are going to call you. You also need to make the trash fold. If you leave too many players in the hand, top pair probably won't hold up.

Bet the turn. You are not getting more bets in the pot, since it is just someone else betting instead of you. You will have the same number of callers no matter who bets. If it gets checked around, you have lost bets.

Bet the river. Your checkraise just blasted out players that may have called one bet, but certainly not 2. A player that calls 2 bets probably has you beat.

I disagree that you won the most on this hand, I think you could have gotten more bets on the river if you had bet the whole way. You also were just asking for someone calling with bottom pair or A high to outdraw you.

Hand 2.

Good raise pre flop, you want to play JJ against as few overcards as possible. Get out the players with A9, etc.

Just call on the flop. You most definately have the best hand now, and a free card probably won't hurt you since there is no flush draw. A player with 9T or KT will call whether you raise or not, so you are not really protecting your hand. If you call the UTG player will most likely bet again on the turn. Wait until the bets double on the turn when your advantage is greater to raise.

Good bet on the river, The A completes an unlikely straight or flush draw, but your opponent has acted like he only has top pair and a top pair player will most likely call you. If you had Q9, a check would probably be correct since any hands that call probably have you beat.

Flop: I don't think you shuld be raising KQo here. It loses multiway value without suitedness and it will be much easier to play posflop if you haven't raised.

Being the second to act with 7 people in the pot, you can be pretty sure you will have off a chance to check raise (depends on table really). I would check raise in hope of getting any possible straights draws out; betting out won't accomplish this.

You probably could have gotten more money out of the first hand on the flop and turn as well. If you would have bet out, with more money in the pot, you probably could have got some of the folders to hang in there longer, especially on the flop while the bets are still small.

Hand 1: C/Raise on the flop...you can knock out a lot of those callers who could draw out--as long as they're not calling stations. Otherwise, C/R the turn, and you will knock them out for sure.

Hand 2: I agree that waiting until the turn to raise, could get you one more small bet.
