No real reads other than Zozek tight preflo but prepared to call down with unpaired AK and Gushneba seemed fairly loose-passive.
I realise that my river play was a bit wacky but my read on Zozek open-limping was KQ or KJ but I'm more concerned about whether I was too loose pre-flop and whether I should have bet and 3-bet the flop. As a side note I expected gushneba to call my flop bet.

so pre-flop and flop were ok? I have no doubts about the turn.
Without any read at-all I guess my river play was bad but given the cards I had (wrongly) put villain on I thought it was marginally +ve

PF is meh but I love those types of hands. Flop's fine if you're going to check bricked turns.

Personally, I don't really care for the preflop limp. A little too loose for me.
It's not worth the raise against a limper. And with only one caller, you are probably not going to get the required implied odds. Maybe with two callers I might limp pf. But with only one, I'm typically passing.

I thought that might be the majority opinion.
Having said that, when reviewing my PO stats I found that my biggest profit-makers are OESD and flush draws which is pretty much why I limped the button. Does this arguement hold up?

Fold preflop. Having limped, the rest of the hand is fine.

If it was 7d8d instead of 5 7 i assume limping the button would be fine?

Actually....
Liming with that hand is better. unless he is very tight. I'm raising with 87s against a single limper from the BTN.

Oh right, so I guesse my call was very 50/50? not too bsd but not exactly optimal. I'll keep that kind of play reserved for super loose-passive games in future.
