yes, too chicken. You set a nice trap by checking and calling the flop I think. But don't slow down afterwards. You have the nut flush, only a few hands beat you. I would cap the turn and river.

I'm trying to think of the hands that beat you...

straight flush
6c2c
7c6c

quads
44

boat
33
55
JJ

please correct me if I'm wrong, but when only 6 hands out there can beat you, those are pretty good odds.

JJ is not even one of them, because what he had, he had on the turn.
I agree. Too damn chicken!!!
I seem to choose the wrong hands to push my edge, and chicken out on the correct ones.
I need to work on this.

I agree that you were too chicken (River's at least worth a 3-bet) but this is the real list of hands that beat you...after the river
Superb play sir...I always call 20% of my stack off with a gutshot draw. Excuse me while I race for my wallet.

I would fold this preflop.

I don't like the flop check/call. People are more likely to call bets on the flop than on the turn, given the position of the PFR I would either bet/3-bet or bet/call and then lead any turn.

Given the way you played it I would cap the turn lead the river and then call a raise.
