Basically, A lot of stuff "clicked" tonight, and I know i'm playing better* now so I wanted to post some hands as they come up tonight and give reasoning behind my plays.

* Not that i'm playing good, but i'm not playing as bad as before! =)

Be as harsh as you want to be. I need to learn.

Hand 1:

Ultimate Bet 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with T, T.
Hero raises, 2 folds, MP1 calls, 5 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (6.40 SB) 8, K, 7 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, BB calls.

(If someone had raised me, I would have folded. If someone had called me I would have raised again on the turn and river unless I was pushed back at .. That the right play?)

Turn: (4.70 BB) 9 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, MP1 folds, BB folds.

Final Pot: 5.70 BB

==============================

Hand 2:

Big Blind Special:

Ultimate Bet 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (7 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4, 6.
1 fold, MP2 calls, El calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 7, 3, 2 (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, MP2 folds, SB calls.

(just calls preflop, not a scary flop, flush draw, gunshot straight draw.. 12 outs.. I bet expecting to buy the pot )

Turn: (3.50 BB) 7 (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG folds, SB folds.

Final Pot: 4.50 BB

==============================

Will be posting more as they happen.

Q. Is poker Gambling?
A. Do you use correct bankroll management?

River: (1.50 BB) T (3 players)

I might call pre-flop, but with the extra blind out it might be worth a raise to keep the 3 blinds from seeing a free flop, although at this limit that play has less merit.

In a raised pot with you as the PFR you MUST bet that flop. If the CO is aggro you even need to be prepared to take this to showdown.

I don't think the pot's big enough to worry about it. Good fold, IMO.
