I ran what hands I had through Poker Tracker (2.5K or so) and this is what it labeled me as. I guess I'm half-way to TAG, how do I get the aggressive part? My PFR is abit low I think at about 8%. I think I'm folding too much stuff from MP I should be raising with. VP$IP is about 12% and aggression factor is 1.25. Any other stats I should throw down for analysis?

2.5k isnt near enough hands to know what your really rated as.

I'd wait till 5k+ hands.

(note: this is a do as I say, not as I did situation)

Q. Is poker Gambling?
A. Do you use correct bankroll management?

12% VPIP way too tight unless you're 8 tabling.
aggression 1.25 is way too low. 2 is the minimum you should have (excluding preflop).

not playing enough hands, not betting/raising enough.
8% PFR is fine for most levels.

If you are a TAP'er, you might be timid on turn and river bets. I was the same way for a while, until I focussed on value betting T/R when I am pretty sure I'm ahead. Basically, I lowered my standards for betting/raising on these streets. This has raised my aggression factor and my WR.

Make sure to unclick preflop aggression, I had this problem also and I realized my rules were calculated for preflop aggression factor NOT checked... Also the 12% VP$IP is way to tight IMO…

The reason that your agression is low is not because you are folding too much, but because you are calling too much. bet and raise more, check and call less.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.
