In retrospect, betting the river would have been a better line for me...

Preflop: Fnord is CO with A , 9 .
5 folds, Fnord raises, Button 3-bets, 2 folds, Fnord calls.
Flop: (7.33 SB) 4 , 9, T (2 players)
Fnord checks, Button bets, Fnord calls.
Turn: (4.66 BB) 2 (2 players)
Fnord checks, Button bets, Fnord calls.
River: (6.66 BB) 9 (2 players)
Fnord checks, Button bets, Fnord raises, Button calls.
Final Pot: 10.66 BB
Results in white below:
Fnord has Ac 9d (three of a kind, nines).
Button has Ks Ad (one pair, nines).
Outcome: Fnord wins 10.66 BB.

i'm sorry i've got to say this as it's been going on too long, villain is spelt villian, that will be all.

because the way you played it looks like a flush draw. i lose 1 BB, but potentially win 6.66BB
i think i can bluff this pot down 1 in 6 times.
edit: AJ-AK, QJ, 87 all play the same as well, and sometimes betting with AK is for value cuz sometimes AQ and AJ will call.

This is a weird joke, if it is one. It's "villain" -- unless you're referring to a person from Villius, in which case it's "villian" but should be capitalized.

I dont think so, I like the way you played it, you went for the gutsy C/R on the river and you hit it. Any missed flush, straight, or TPTK will bet out here hoping you to fold. I think if you bet out here he folds and the best thing to do is to induce a bluff.
