Im in the SB with AA, two people in the pot, I raise, he calls.

No raising in SB almost always means you have a Face or and Ace especially if it’s folded around (assuming you are counting yourself as two people in the pot considering you said there was one caller) when you checked the flop he correctly smelled a trap, which makes since if you raise PF, then check with a flop hitting an A I think that betting out would seem more like a “representation” of that Ace, I would have bet out there making it look as if I were on a weak A to see where he was at... (Given this guy is a thinker you must play the hand “strong is strong” to be more deceptive rather then “weak is strong”) you either take it down or you might get some action... either way you like both results you'll win the pot 100% the time to a fold and 80 to 90% with action...

At .05/.10 those people have no noses. The folder is just a moron.

Bet the flop.

I'll agree it was fairly obvious i had the A, but you can't give them that much credit ;p

I had no idea what the stakes were... I was giving you credit for playing 1/2 at least...

I agree he should have bet the flop but you can't really defend his opponent's play.

It's just awful, there's no advantage folding has over checking.

The check tables your hand if you're a known aggro player. Yao also mentions this in his book (which I've been impressed with.)
