Finishing up my 1300 hand session today, thinking "give me something nice, for my last round of the table" Tyrell comments about no action on his Royal flush in the previous hand, and along comes this little gem:

Wausau is very aggressive
Jwill is very loose

At most tables I play at this is a fold pre-flop.

Post-flop, meh. Often I'll raise the flop expecting worse hands to call 2, otherwise you can easy trap yourself calling the big streets looking for overcalls and praying someone else pops it.

Normally, I would too. But jizzames was the only player at the table playing respectable cards, so I wanted to see the flop based on implied odds against all the bad players. Wausau was VP$IP over 70% and PFR ~25%, with post flop aggr close to 3. Any suited-connector is hit a good flop or fold. With his aggr rating, I knew I would get paid if I hit. It worked out this time, just as it had a few before.

Again, normally I would. But I figured, I'm either dominated and need to hit my 3-4 outer, or most of them have absolutely nothing. If I'm dominated, I want to see it cheap. If I'm way ahead, the two overcallers would fold, and the better would probably check/fold on the turn.

This is definately not my normal play with this type of hand. It was an unusual hand at an unusual table. I had the only aggressive player and the only good player to my immediate right, with all the loose passives to my left. My standard play is raise/reraise/cap on the flop, and depending on the table/players/action I'll do the same on the turn and river. The only reason I posted it was that I thought the chat was funny, and it was interesting how everyone woke up with something on the river.
