5/10 Hold'em (5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
Preflop: Hero is BB with 8 , J .
UTG calls, MP raises, Button 3-bets, 1 fold, Hero calls, UTG calls, MP caps, Button calls, Hero calls, UTG calls.
Flop: (16.40 SB) T , Q , K (4 players)

Turn: (16.20 BB) 2 (4 players)

River: (24.20 BB) 3 (4 players)
Hero bets, UTG folds, MP raises, Button folds, Hero 3-bets, MP caps, Hero calls.
Final Pot: 32.20 BB
Results in white below:
Hero has 8h Jh (flush, jack high).
MP has Jc 7c (high card, king).
Outcome: Hero wins 32.20 BB.
My preflop call was highly questionable from a purely theoretical point of view (highly questionable = unbelievably lousy). However, UTG was 57/9, MP was 77/20, and Button was 57/29. The past couple hands MP and Button had been raise happy preflop and what they showed was crap. I took the 3-bet to be meaningless as far as strength, and you gotta play a few of these or when you do enter the fray no-one observant will pay you off.
Does posting the BB then calling 2 cold count as a limp/call 3-bet in PT? If so, this was the 2nd time I've done it in about 8k hands.

I dont think I'm threebetting that flop. Although, it did bring along a LOT of dead money. Note that MP played it the exact same way you did, you just hit the backdoor.

As long as more than 3 people are in the pot, your raise is +EV.
