B&M $4-$8

Villain is loose maniac. I havent seen him play anything good all night. He has raised with J-5o and J-6s (he says he loves jacks...go figure) and bluffed out people 3 times tonight already. My image is very tight and villain calls me "professor" (as i am watching everyone, and i look geeky )
---------------------------------------------------------
Hand 1:

villain had me crushed on flop but played it bad and let me in

Hero is Qc-Qh in CO. Villain is in uTG+2

Preflop: UTG+1 calls, Villain raises, MP1 calls,Hero 3 bets, SB calls, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, Villain calls, MP1 calls

Flop: 5c-8h-Jh (2 hearts on board)
Villain bets, MP1 calls, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls, Villain calls, MP1 calls

Turn: 5c-8h-Jh-Kh
SB bets, Villain calls, Hero calls

River: 5c-8h-Jh-Kh-Ah
SB checks, Villain bets, Hero raises, Villain calls.

Villain shows 8-8 for set of 8s.
hero wins pot.

--------------------------------------------------
Hand 2: Kill pot 8-16

Hero is AKo in SB.

Preflop: Villain calls, MP3 calls, Button calls, Hero raises, BB calls, Villain calls, MP3 calls, Button calls.

Flop: 3-4-5 rainbow
Hero bets, Villan raises, Hero 3 bets, Villain calls, Button calls

Turn: 3-4-5-8
Hero checks, Villain checks, Button checks

River: 3-4-5-8-4
Hero checks, Villain bets, button folds (after seeing Hero stack his chips),
hero calls (crying call as villain is a bluffing maniac !!)

Villain shos A-60

Hero wins the pot.

Button starts cussing that he folded A-3 he thought i had AA or KK and so i had him beat

Hand one looks good, river I guess you need to beat a bluff 10% of the time to be good (Is this right?) So if you have a really strong read go for it? It seems to me a play like this might be -EV but I'm not really sure.

hand 2 flop. Button came along for the ride. cold called 2 and then called my reraise. sorry about that. kinda hard to post from memory next day about a live hand .

I didnt put villain even on a straight draw. maybe 2 unpaired big cards. he had been egging me to give him action so 3 bet him and when he checked i knew he didnt have anything.

didnt put button on any pair. glad he folded. i wouldnt call with ace high unless in extreme situations (HU and villain likes to steal or bluff ). i do realise it is a -ev play though, but felt to check if villain had really something. didnt want him flashing J-70 this time...lol
