rpm has a spectacular aura aboutrpm has a spectacular aura about
such a nice turn card in that last hand. not sure if his bottom pair was going to be good 1/4.3 of the time given flop and turn action but oh well, you're not complaining!

in general I think cold calling 3 bets is pretty eh in most situations, I pretty much only do it IP with nice rundowns or player specific spots. here with MP2's stack and his weak hand, esp vs AA which pretty must has to be out given action it's the easiest fold ever.

Fun hand because really what I should do is min raise, so that MP2 can re shove behind, then I can maybe get to bomb over everyone calling him. But most shorties (this was a 50BB min table) are too stupid to do so.

@Baudib, nh.

However, this isn't really a good hand at all. You have limited straight potential and mediocre flush draws. Vs an UTG shorty raise I'm not sure I like playing.

Shoving seems fine given likely equity, and un-likelihood of a call, but after they both call you can't be very excited.

swiggidy, yeah I agree it is marginal, as I posted it in a separate thread here. I was wondering, since this is a likely donk betting a single overpair with or without a draw on the flop, if I should raise the flop.

doc, to be fair, he was open-ended with 7 red cards on the river...there has to be some showdown value in that.
