Post subject: Take note! Limit is more profitable at pokerroom than NL!

Before I post up my hand histories for evaluation, I would like to discuss pokerroom and the kinds of players who play limit and no limit. It seems to me that the players who play limit are way worse than the players who play no limit.
I am kind of not rolled to play NL10 because I only have around 110 dollars in my bankroll. I am, however, rolled for 15c/30c limit.
What happened during my NL play is that at first I wasn't used to it, and I think I was playing too aggressively. I would keep running into bigger hands and couldn't lay mine down. Worse, I value bet my opponents' better hands FOR THEM.
But after playing a few hundreds hands I think I learned to control my aggression, tighten up my post-flop play. I think it was valuable to learn to play NL ring. But as I explored NL, I played one hand that made me go back to limit. I had a flush draw and I bet it on the flop, the turn and the river. I never made it, so the river bet was basically a move, and I knew that I had to bet because that was a hugely EV+ move since my opponent hesitated on the turn.
That means that in order to beat the NL10 game I would have to make moves. That's terrible. The people who play NL DO fold after the flop. The people who play limit DON'T. In fact, bluffing on the end is hugely EV- because they NEVER FOLD. I see very few pots where the winner made everyone fold. No, usually the third button calls down and the one card straight draw calls with ace high to keep the other guy honest.
Playing limit, I caught a bit of a down-swing, but I kept playing and made more money than I lost the same day. I played with people who cold call 3 bets, people who cap from flop to river with just a straight draw on a 3 suit board and people who limp and fold to a raise. Those people who call on a paired board, call again when the board shows two pair and lose to my ace kicker make my win rate in BB a lot higher than it could be possible at higher stakes. In fact, I'm making 16BB/100 out of 2200 hands. And it's not just variance, I seriously see myself making 12BB/100 or so at those stakes in the long run. I am not the best player, but these people might be the worst.
I caught a bit of bad luck at the NL tables, but they can't be possibly as profitable as the limit tables, because the players at the NL10 tables have the ability to fold.
When I move up to 25c/50c tables I will re-evaluate this. Now, the question for you: is the limit game on the site and stakes you play more fishy than the NL ring game?

the PokerRoom network has a 1-1 blind structure, so if you were playing say 200nl it would be $2-$2... which i think is funcky however i never play NL anyways so i don't pay attention to how that would effect the play...
I have tried playing the 1-1 crap before at 1/2 limit and it turned it into a no foldem holem crap shot...

Are you talking about full ring or 5 max? Or both.

Hmm I never really tried 6max. This is only about full ring.
Someone said that the NL10 people don't care if you bet 10BB preflop and they'll call you anyway. At pokerroom this is not really true. Only pretty good hands will call a dollar raise, but lots of people will call 50 cents.

However, in five card draw it's noted as say 0.25/0.25 blinds, and they are 0.25 0.25 blinds. So confusing

oh that's because the small bet is 1 dollar and the big bet is 1 dollar :D
in SNGs they actually DOUBLE the minimal bet on later rounds in no limit!
