Any general advice from switching from NL to Limit? Usually a NL(2/4) player, planned on giving 2/4, possibly 3/6 limit a try for the first time. Thanks.

Just remember that playing limit requires a lot more of pushing small edges than NL does. In NL, you have to be careful about raising with mediocre/good hands, because you are reopening the pot to let your opponent move all in and possibly bluff you out of the pot or just put you in a all around bad situation. This is not the case in limit. Also remember that you will see quite a few more showdowns in limit.

if you play 2/4 NL you can be playing 5/10 limit and up.
Read Fnord's limit hold'em post.

Can, but should NOT play 5/10 and up. Christ spenda, you really think throwing him into 5/10 as his first hands of LHE is a good idea?

Really thinking he is talking about playing live...
If not then I retract the 5/10 statement
