As a follow up to my earlier posting (http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...oker-42816.htm) I want to share my $1/2 stats to-date.

If you compare the two sets of stats they are very similar. The major problem identified before was the BB and that's still awful and I don't know how to fix it.
The SB has got decidely worse and the other positions have stayed more or less the same (still a bit problematic from the button, but basically I'm unspectacular from all positions).

My goal for October is to fix my blind play and perhaps see if I can't get the right side of break-even.

Anyone see anything more I should be looking at?

What can I do at the blinds? Someone said they couldn't say more without seeing sample hands; what's good to look at? Big losses? Small losses with crap? Particular types of hands? Free flops?

Feeling a bit bummed about this guys, so all help is appreciated.

I think I'm in a downswing just generally, but I think there's something more chronic here.
Blah blah Op Blah blah

I would suggest posting a bunch of hands from the BB. I wouldn't worry about trying for certain types of hands or if you won or not. Just as you are playing, make a note of any hand you are unsure of even if it is just you folding to a blind steal. Then post the 3 or 4 hands you are most unsure of at the end of the day. If you have a problem it is probably something you never considered, because if you had considered it you probably would have fixed it

Your BB/100 stat at each position is completely worthless at this point due to WAY too small of a sample size, so I would just completely ignore it.

Some easy conceptual tips on fixing big leaks:

1. Bet out your draws from the blinds in multiway pots.
2. Be careful with top pair. Make a decision on the flop what you think your opponents have and pay attention to the board. Repeat to yourself calling down costs you ALOT of money if you are behind and don't be afraid to fold it if all indicators are telling you you are beat. If you have to, raise an early bettor (even with mid pair) to reduce the field and increase your chances of winning.
3. Use agression preflop and on the flop to define where you stand, secure position, and reduce the filed. Use the last two streets for value.
4. Try to avoid folding the river because they cost too much money if you are wrong. Make your decisions on the flop or turn. Bet or raise only if you plan on calling a raise or re-raise.

Somewhat similar to Ltrain's recommendations, here are my street by street guidelines with marginal hands/decisions:

Preflop: tend to fold marginal hands.
Flop: tend to call/raise marginal hands.
Turn: tend to fold
River: tend to call

All of this is based on typical pot odds situations for each street. The good hands and the bad hands are relatively easy to play. It's the marginal hands that are going to determine your winrate.
