Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is CO with J, 9. Hero posts a blind of $2.
2 folds, MP1 raises, MP2 calls, 1 fold, Hero (poster) calls, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) J, 7, J (4 players)
BB checks, MP1 bets, MP2 calls, Hero raises, BB folds, MP1 3-bets, MP2 folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (7.75 BB) 8 (2 players)
MP1 bets, Hero raises, MP1 3-bets, Hero calls.

River: (13.75 BB) T (2 players)
MP1 bets, Hero raises, MP1 3-bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 19.75 BB

i'm folding preflop (Is that too tight?)

I'd cap the turn, cap river.

wth did he have? was he a donkey?
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately

preflop is close. i only called cuz i was half in already and would likely gain position.

cap the turn? are you not worried about kicker trouble?
cap the river? are you not worried that most players only 3bet a better hand?

flop trip jacks and river a straight, what more can you ask for. Did mp1 have AJ/KJ/QJ? 77 88 TT? only the last 3 hands beat you on the river
