Hi guys I really want to learn a stud variant, maybe someone can give some tipps or outline the main differences between stud8 studhi and razz. I don't mean the basic rules, I mean something like winrate/variance,luckfactor, availability or future of the game, so it's easier to decide which game to learn.
I would like to hear some thoughts :P

I find Stud 8 has more bad players, basically because most people suck at hi/lo games. I also think a skilled player has more of an edge over their less skilled opponents in Stud 8. However, most live games where im from are Stud Hi (if they have any stud tables that is). So for me its important to get good at Stud Hi even though i like Stud 8 better. It really depends on your goals and which you prefer.
Sorry if this isnt really helpfull to you. Hopefully TLR or someone can add some better points.

My 2 cents
I think stud 8 is the most complex out of the three games, because it is a high low split and requires relatively good reading skills.
Razz is the simplest one IMO, one reason is that there are many cases when you know you are ahead based on all the exposed cards, and in lower buy ins people play it really badly.
I dont play much stud, I prefer stud 8.
At least in pokerstars Razz does not get much traffic, and in stud 8 you see a lot of regulars even in the lower buy ins
