A local card room started spreading a PLO H/L game. The makeup is mostly regulars from other games, and most seem very very bad. The loose money comes from players who are limping 90% and raising small with the other 10%, there's almost no 3-betting and the game plays short handed a lot. I've played a bit of FL O H/L, but I'm a NLHE player. My question is where do I go for information on how to play a game like this? Would Jeff Hwang's books be the most relevent to a loose game like this?
Thanks

Amazon.com: Pot Limit Omaha 8 Revealed (Volume 1) (9781442197633): Dan Deppen, Anna Paradox: Books
it's pretty good, needed better editing.
Hwang section is OK but it's only 30 pages or so.
You should start with PLO Hi though. Get some practice at both online in micros first.

This book is pretty basic, but decent for a new player. He goes a lil deeper on a few things too. I don't regret getting it even though I was past most of it.
I got he ebook version direct from him for 1/2 the listed amazon price, so you could prolly get the same from him or near. I'm not sure if I can post his web site name? pm me if you want it, or google plo8 and his name.

Look up a guy named mike cappelletti (might have mispelled). he used to write articles on omaha years ago, mostly on omaha high but im sure the guy discussed eight or better a little bit also. Hes kind of an omaha guru.
