I promise I only called PF cause there were a number of loose limpers in this one. TGLman in particular has played a ragged A UTG and a Q2o. Bad idea to take a cheap look at the flop here? SB is one of my weaknesses.

It might be a cheap flop, but it's going to be difficult post-flop playing a hand like this out of position. Particularly given that many players at this level limp with big aces.

I can see why you'd play it like you did, although I would probably bet or check/raise the flop. Bet/fold is a better line than check/call on the river.

If they are loose, playing any ace is not the way to beat them. Try playing more suited connectors in games like these.

Anyway, you have to at least bet or raise somewhere on the flop with top pair. You can guage from the action where you are beat or not.
