BB is a rock, very passive. If he raises I tend to fold almost always. MP3 is a stranger, and button is pretty tight. For anyone with stats on me I show up as tight aggressive, but at that table I had a VPIP of something like 2% with no raises after a run of crap cards.
So I thought a steal might be worth a try, with the extra Big blind in the pot.
Preflop: Hero is CO with 4 , 4 . MP3 posts a blind of $0.10.
5 folds, MP3 (poster) checks, Hero raises, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls, MP3 folds.
Flop: (7.50 SB) 3 , 7 , 9 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, BB calls.
Turn: (5.25 BB) 7 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero ???
So, the big question - how far do I go with a steal? Fire the second barrel? The third?

Standard. Bet the turn and don't put anymore bets in the pot unless you spike a 4.

there is no reason to bet this turn whatsoever. With two callers one of them has at least a pair.

It's not a bad situation to overlimp the poster with and try to see a cheap flop.
Once you're called on the flop, the jig is usually up. The board pairing makes it interesting - there's some chance they both have overcards so i might try betting again on the turn, but i don't mind checking either. It depends on the opponents really.
