Just curious about something...

My History for November:
  • Hands Played - 1461
    BB/100 - 4.93
    VP$IP - 22.53
    PFR% - 5.39
    Up Net $59.85

I have found that I leave an inordinate amount of money on the table from the blinds. In studying PT data I find those whom I played against with better than average money for more than the average hands played had the following stats (myself included)
  • Hands Played - 3189 - 23 Unique Players
    BB/100 - 24.00 // wow
    VP$IP - 28.97 // from playing more blinds?
    PFR% - 5.71
    Caveat - Avg Net - $16.87

The major difference their averages and mine in regard to the blinds:
  • Fold to Steal 25.60 - I fold 80%
    Steal Attempts - 7.50 - I Steal 2.5
    SF_All - 34.38 - 20 +/- for me.

Like to hear some thoughts on number of blinds played...

Ill give my thoughts....

it depends who raise you....if its an agressive SB, i call him and if i hit the flop i let him bet all the way

If its a uber tight UTG and you hold 93o.... easy fold


Basicelly i play battle of the blinds, even agaisnt the button agressively, but im more passive against the 3 other position since they often have real hands.

Also 80% seems huge to me...i personally do around 50% and i think 70% is a good number.


For example if you hold K9o and you think this SB is holding trash, easy call. Just try and play like if you knew hole cards.

However im only saying this from my own experience, lets see what other FTR members says (i make 5.5/100 at 2/4$ over 10K hand)



NOTE::: I play 6 Max...., full table is probably very different.
