yes they absolutely blow ass... there is absolutely no reason you should play those games when party is much softer and less Argo... at the same levels...
fucking stupid ass reload bonuses are not worth your time there...
just thought i would make that clear to everyone before they make same mistake i did...

What stakes were you playing? I found the play there to be pretty predictable through to 3/6

There 6-max NL games are good though.

they play predictable you're probably right on that however you will come across a lot of players there that are stupidly over argo... i got capped several times today on the turn by some dig shit holding 97s in say hearts on the damn FD... sure it's profitable in long term but it makes for extremely high variance games as well, i got slow rolled more often there, it almost seems like the avg player there gets more "cute" with you...
where at party the donkeys are pretty damn passive unless you go looking for a maniac, stars it just seems the donks like raise bet and raise a whole lot on some shitty ass hands, GSDs are a 3 bet sometimes, crazy shit, and i'm talking 1/2 to 3/6 i saw it a little everywhere, 3/6 was probably the one that wasn't that wild compared to the damn 1/2 and 2/4 games there...
i mean if you like to gambol and have huge pots, then i guess it's the place to go, but you also bettor like huge variance as well... i just find the Party 6 max games at that level much easier to beat with less variance...
i have never really liked the stars game ever since i started playing 6max i have found it difficult for me to beat... given my track record i have made a majority of my money from Party 6 max games up to and including 3/6... 5/10 i did alright but i wasn't there long enough to have a good sample size... with all the given software out there that works extremely well on party where the same software on stars sucks my balls and it's not even worth trying to use, i think that i personally find myself playing bettor with the HUDs on party then with the janky huds on stars... most time with stars i can't even get the huds to work right so i'm left 2-4 table without and that can be a real pain in your ass in tough spots... over all with the players and the tools i just don't think stars is where the money is at...
it's my personal opinion form my experiences with the 2 sites (Stars and Party), maybe it's a mental thing who knows but i have had 1000 times more success with the party games then the stars games... so it is my strong opinion that stars is not where the “easy” money is to be made while minimizing your risks... if you have some gigantic bankroll go for it, but most people don't...

also the 2/4 game reminds me of the party 5/10 game a lot durring bonus clearing times...
maybe games are softer when there are not reload bonuses floating around over there... but the times i play there it's to clear some reload bonus... so maybe it atracks every shark there is or something making games more argo and bit wilder...

Because of the Party Monster BS, I moved to Stars about 20K hands ago. I am finding the games similar and profitable (lots of 45% and up VPIP, >10% PFR tables during weekends), but I am running about .5/100 BB less than at Party prior to the Monster promotion. Also, one night I found two FR 3/6 tables that were about 50% VPIP, > 5% PFR; have not seen that on Party in a LONG time. During the week, the games are very tight and tough though, so I am playing NL those days instead.
Is party still in Monster Hell?
Midas- Party still has my account as "suspended" after I closed it about two months ago so PM on where I should go from here. Thanks.

actually i have found party's Monster tables to be loser then ever anymore... i dunno what it is but i found 4 solid tables where i was the only tagg on many occasions... and they were passive as shit w/o a big ass hand... walked all over them for the most part, stars games they push back so walking over them is not gonna happen...
maybe it's just how my style works the best at party i have no idea but i think party is hell of a lot easier to beat for one reason or another, maybe a lot of the taggs like yourself left because they were pissed at party for making limit players pay for some stupid ass MTT...
