let's try to add some hands to this as time goes...

READ: villains are trending passive, but i havent been to the table long. i felt i was too strong to c/f river the way the action went. so i figured if i wasnt going to fold to a single bet, a b/f line would be best since the scare card hit. that heart should give me some more FE against a Q or weak 2pr hands. decent spot for a river bluff vs typical micro players? (i know reads are important here, but i am asking for a generic answer to help me pick some spots. i will take reads from there. for now, we are just trying to identify potential spots.)

Your flop play is questionable but we'll get back to that later.

Really what are you trying to fold out with the river bet that has you beat? KQ is not folding i don't think.

I check and think long and hard about calling if the last player to act bets. If it's bet and called or raised behind me I fold faster than momma on laundry day.

yeah, I decree this river bluff unbettable.

The bigger the pot, and the scarier the river card to your opponents the more likely you should be to bet. Sadly this river card is a momentous card to the 3-better.
The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?

Agreed, terrible spot to bluff. Even heads up I wouldn't bet it after he checks behind on the turn. What could he 3bet preflop, cbet, then check behind with that we are ahead of (on the turn)? 88? AK? AQ? All of them beat us now and will call getting huge odds.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Be pissed you didn't take the lead on the flop, let them get there, basically for free, and vomit (a little) in your mouth, as you muck the river!

Everytime you semibluff raise the turn and miss.
Another good one is when you raise PF, say KQo, flop comes ragged, u c-bet and get called, turn is another brick, so u check behind, and river brings an A, if villain checks, u should bet
