PokerStars 0.02/0.04 Hold'em (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q , Q .
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG+1 calls.
Flop: (9 SB) T , 3 , 2 (4 players)
SB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, CO raises, SB folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.
Turn: (7.50 BB) 9 (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks, CO checks.
River: (7.50 BB) 5 (3 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls, CO calls.
Final Pot: 10.50 BB
Reviewing this hand I think I should have reraised the flop giving poor(er) odds for the two drawing hands, and I think the lack of pre-flop action suggests that they are on draws (or small pairs). Thoughts?
Results:
Seat 2: CO mucked [5h 3h]
Seat 8: UTG+1 showed [Ac 4c] and won ($0.40) with a straight, Ace to Five
Seat 9: HermannTL mucked [Qd Qs]

3-bet flop. Bet turn.
As played fold the river. Two draws hit (i would be expecting to see probably a flush, maybe a straight here)

I'm also 3betting the flop. You're likely ahead and you want to make hands like FD, AK, AT, etc. pay to see more cards.
Bet the turn when it's checked to you. Raise if it's bet in front of you. You're just too likely to be ahead here to make checking an option.
Call the river. You'll be surprised at how often UTG+1 is betting out hands like QT or A5 here. In general, if you fold every time a draw completes you will lose a lot of money. I'm only folding if it's two bets or more to call.

p.s. CO goes on my buddy list after this hand. A seat directly to his left is prolly worth .5 BB/100 hands before any cards are even dealt.

Reraising the flop and betting the turn is the right choice for value and to put opponents on hands but you wouldn't be changing the odds for drawing. If UTG+1 is willing to call 2 bets cold on the flop, he'd certainly call another bet.

Guess you're right. If I had reraised then the first caller is getting 16:1 to call.
OK, I should have reraised, and I hadn't thought beyond that to see that I would then have needed to bet out the turn. I would still call on the river as I'd rather make the mistake of paying one bet against the chance that the bettor is more of an idiot than I am. Thanks to all!
