Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is SB with 5, 3.
1 fold, MP calls, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 7, 7, 8 (4 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, MP calls, Button calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 9 (3 players)
Hero bets, MP calls, Button calls.

River: (6.50 BB) 6 (3 players)
Hero bets, MP raises, Button folds, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 10.50 BB


The river raise threw me a bit. Thoughts?

You can't 3-bet as a cap would make you puke IMO.

However reads are nice in these spots as the laggy guys will raise a T here thinking their str8 is still good.

I just play too tight in the SB. Its still close tho.

No way. I would complete this 3 handed, and every time 4 handed.

You have to call the raise at the river. 3 bet is spewing.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.
