When would you consider calling this? only HU? Why did you call the turn when the 4 flush hit but folded the river to 1 bet?
I don't mind losing a set to a flush because you can usually see the flush and slow down the betting if you feel the guy is on the draw/possibly hit. What I HATE is set vs set. You jam the pot only to lose to a bigger set. I just lost a 44 vs JJ bout a 35ish BB pot.

He has drawing odds for a full house. Set isn't good without the board pairing.

I'm assuming you're talking about his set vs the 4 flush on the board.

Correct...Fnord has 10 outs to his boat or quads...with 2 players willing for action still in and the pot at it's current size the turn call is easy...You could possibly see a 3-bet or cap on the river if Fnord hits
Of course a 7s in someone's hand would ruin Fnord's day.

Superb play sir...I always call 20% of my stack off with a gutshot draw. Excuse me while I race for my wallet.

Good point about the turn call. Enough outs to justify a call. I was starting to think the same way and wonder why call the turn bet with a gazillion cards that already beat you.
Interesting that you didn't bet, but I'm sure you figured that with that board someone was going to bet/raise. I assume you'd fold if CO or button had raised? Don't want to get caught in the middle of a raise war when trips are probably third best.
yes, the 7s would really ruin your day.

Let's not forget his out for a really interesting split:

which of course could mean a double bad beat jackpot if someone holds -- but i bet if you don't use ANY of yr hole cards they don't give you jackpots?
And yeh, strung the reason you call the turn is that you have a 1 in 6 chance of probably winning there. At the end you have exactly zero chance of winning any damn thing.
