I don't know what I would have done if it was capped before it got to me and I had QQ. That table was relatively aggressive, so I probably would have called and hoped for no overcards and check out the action in front of me :P

At least he had a pair. I regularly see people cold calling 3 with junk like 95 offsuit

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

At 1/2 and 2/4 I've seen people call two or three bets cold with absolute shit. And I mean, routinely, out of position, and for no reason whatsoever. Last night at 1/2 I saw a guy open-limp from early position, then call two raises (everyone but the two raisers had folded)... then he check/called the flop of K94... and check-raised the turn when another nine hit. He held: 92 suited. Now that's POWER POKER.

Hahahaha. I don't know what I love most - CO calling all those raises with absolute shit and catching a miracle flop, or UTG+1 rivering him with the gutshot (at least he had a playable hand and a flush draw, though).

Either your table selection sucks or you don't play 2/4 online. Every other night there is a guy at one of my tables who would call that with A7o. A year ago the games were even better...

They're still pretty bad (or good, however you want to put it - good for profit, bad for talent, let's say). I just started playing 1/2 and 2/4 and I'm AMAZED how much of this shit I see. It varies a lot from table to table and depending on the time of day, it seems like. But there are a lot of loose-ass tables where it is not at all surprising to see some fish limp in from early position and then call every raise that comes down.
