You may have avoided losing this hand had you not given the free river card. What was your thinking behind checking the turn?

After MP1 3-bet the flop, i was trying to think of what hand he could have to do that with, i figured he had QJ and aready had his straight or caught something like 2 pair, either way i was expecting him to bet the turn after the 3-bet on the flop. Thats why this hand makes me so angry, after its all said and done he probably did that with nothing, and his 3-bet is what made me back off from betting/raising which in the end lost the hand for me

it is better in this situation to get the free card as Fnord had a hand full of nothing. BB called the flop and was trying for a check-raise on the turn.

The right move for the fish was to raise the flop and bet the turn. Then again... if he'd done that he wouldn't be a fish!

it looks like he might have check raised now that you see his cards, but without knowing them you can't check headsup just because you are scared of a checkraise. the turn was a blank, if he had a draw he didn't hit. i bet this headsup everytime without a read.

JJ, shame on you for checking that turn in hand 2. and likewise, shame on the BB for giving fnord that free river card.
