Slap me right back to 2/4 please.
PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A , Q .
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, MP2 3-bets, 4 folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.
Flop: (10.40 SB) A , 4 , 8 (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, MP2 calls, UTG+1 folds.
Turn: (6.20 BB) 6 (2 players)
Hero bets, MP2 raises, Hero calls.
River: (10.20 BB) K (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls.
Final Pot: 12.20 BB
It's a crazy world out there!

Why do I even bother taking shots at higher limits. Always F's me over. Might as well just play 2/4 for the rest of my life if this is how it's going to go. Any objections?

Only 1,775 hands at 5/10. This is why you have BR requirements, so you survive the variance. 1,700 hands is way too few to say you can't win at 5/10.

oh I understand that. And I do have enough of a roll to play 5/10. I'm just frustrated. But at what point do you realize that it's not variance and you just can't beat it? I'm more than willing to admit I'm not able to beat certain games. I lost $1k at UB 2/4 before I realized that it was almost impossible to beat. If you look at the pt stats it just seems like as I go up, the less I'm able to win in terms of $/100. Obviously BB/100 will go down, but not this much. And for $/100, 2/4 still wins. 3/6 seems pointless as the players are better and there is only a 1.5x big bet increase.
I guess I just posted the hand because I think the river call is HORRIBLE and a mistake like this at 2/4 is easily made up, but it'll kill you at the higher limits.
If I don't lead the flop, how do I play it?
