I really thought I played well this session except for one misclick where I raised instead of folding when switching tables (overlap t.t)

I also lagged it up selectively
I don't know if I lost more than I won though, but it seems I'd pick up a lot of one dollar pots and I got called down twice or thrice. I am pretty happy with that though.

Hand 1: Yep, Board helped you play that hand nice

Hand 2: Lead the Turn, but you already know this

Hand 3: I don’t call that flop with just a gut-shot

Hand 4: you’re only calling PF to play for the flush, don’t forget that

Hand 5: I think the loosest Sklansky advocates completing from the SB is any 2 suited, not any two.

Hand 6 (labeled hand 5 again): Again, I don’t complete Q2o.
As played I check/raise the flop. Lead the Turn. Fold the river

Hand 7 (labeled hand 6): Weird. Called all the way down and suddenly decided to lead the river. So he either slow played a set or is playing 67??? I like your raise, but I think his 3 bet means you’re beat… crying call. What did he have?

Hand 8 (labeled Hand 7): Again, you’re not playing this for TP- you want the flush. I let this go on the flop.

Hand 1: I've been insta-calling this river lately too and my win-rate has suffered. I've come around to thinking this is a situational/opponent/sometimes call you should take 10 sec before making.

Hand 2: Lead the turn, I need to see a turn raise to slow down here.

Hand 3: Don't make really marginal calls like that with players behind you yet to act.

Hand 4: I wouldn't lead the flop. I want to see the flop action (I might dump it right there) and a turn card before I do any betting.

Hand 5a: I doubt it matters. I would only complete the top ~90%ish of my hands, basically the ones I play heads-up.

Hand 5b: Turn 3-bet is the most interesting decision yet. I'd look up my stats on the guy.

Hand 6: Yawn, he shows you a worse 2 pair and lots of hands that don't warrant a river raise too often to fold.

Hand 7: Given the flop action, I'm raising the turn. I really can't see folding for a single bet in this pot.

In a big pot folding Top Pair for a single bet is really really really really really really really really really bad. mmmmmmmkay?

Thanks, I fixed my post.

Hand 4 my hand was good so I don't know wtf you're smoking
In fact I'd say it's good on that board THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME
as in more than 50%

Read HEFAP again. In 2/3 blind structure he advocates completing with any two.

Hand 7 the donk had 67... I immediately saw that and immediately dismissed that possiblity... I apparently forgot there are no limits to stupidity

In any case, TP on a no-draw board with deuce kicker at my stakes has at least 60% equity! Why? That's because people play any pair... So if it's pair vs. pair I am good 66% of the time, split due to both having weak kickers say 10% of the time and get owned by sets and two pairs 5% of the time (only 5% because I can outdraw two pair by making the board pair)

TP is good until someone raises the turn. That should be a rule or something. I take notes on people who bet TP no kicker aggressively and multi-table rocks so I can know when my hand is good... against an unknown TP has a good amount of pot equity...

Anyway I'm glad that today I learned to respect... THE CHECK-RAISE
At these stakes it means set or better :D

hehe, I haven't read HEFAP seeing how I've heard it's only helpful beyond (and could be harmly lower than) 2/4. I'm quite surprised someone who plays the .15/.30 game has. That's a complement.

Playing TPNK in a large pot for one bet on a flush draw board is clearly news to me as I'd only feel comfortable with 3 outs, and I'm susceptible to the completed flush on the river. I would love for someone to enlighten me on some lines they take in this situation because I would never play hand 4 like that and I'm obviously doing something very wrong.
