I decided not to cap the flop, it wasn't getting rid of anybody and the 3-betting blind had me a little worried. SB is like 16-12-aggressive, CO is one of those wonderful45-3 players who is passive post flop and calls to the river a lot.

Flop, decided sb was c-betting OR had me dominated, and that re-raising was best way to find out. If I was 3-bet here i probably fold.
Turn. After the calls, then check turn I raised to get rid of ak, and try to find out where I stood. CO could have anything here. But if he raised then I probably call, check-call - hoping no set. Once he calls, I put him on top pair, think he would re-raise a set.
River. Raise based on CO read. Standard?

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q, Q.
3 folds, Hero raises, CO calls, 1 fold, SB 3-bets, 1 fold, Hero calls, CO calls.

Flop: (10 SB) J, 7, 3 (3 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, CO calls, SB calls.

Turn: (8 BB) 6 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, SB folds.

River: (10 BB) T (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

Final Pot: 12 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Qc Qs (one pair, queens).
CO has Js Kc (one pair, jacks).
Outcome: Hero wins 12 BB.

and another. I normally don't limp qq, but knew it was going to be raised pre-flop (aggy players yet to come). Raise is standard on the flop, telling myself i would jump-ship if i hit any resistance? i didn't bet the turn 'cos I figure he has an ace, and won't be folding it. So turn is an easy fold right?

Hand 1: Looks fine. A pf cap isn't bad either. What turn raise? What river raise?
Hand 2: What flop raise? A 5 doesn't bet that turn unless he's floating you. You're beat.

You REALLY need to have an idea of this guy's range for raising preflop limpers. The flop and turn action is incredibly generic and tells you basically nothing. The only way you can figure the probability of his holding an ace is from the preflop action and your read on this player.

(I call here and check/call river against all but the nittiest nits.)

Hand 1 looks fine to me. Raise the flop to charge all those 9-or-less outters. You definitely want the single-overcard guys to fold but if they don't that's good for you too.

Hand 2: It's a horrible board for QQ and I find these quite difficult to play. I usually just c/c the whole way HU and oop in a pot this big. It costs you the minimum to get to showdown if you're behind and encourages him to bluff with a worse hand when you're ahead. It also keeps you out of guessing games that might occur if you bet the flop and check the turn like you did here. If someone does that against me I'm betting 100% of the time on this board with position no matter what i have.
