Hio, I've been studying this forum for some time now, and you've all helped to improve my game tremendously - thnx!
Still a lot of holes to fill, though. Any comments on these plays?
Hand 1:
MP2 LAggy, MP1 LP. Bad play in general... PFR... How would you have played if you bet the flop and get re-raised? That's about 5 outs at 11:1 if no set? If call, fold turn to a bet?
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with T , A .
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls, MP1 calls, MP2 raises, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds, Hero calls, MP1 calls.
Flop: (7.50 SB) 7 , 5 , J (3 players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks, MP2 bets, Hero folds, MP1 raises, MP2 calls $0.25 (All-In).
Turn: (5.37 BB) 5 (2 players, 1 all-in)
River: (5.37 BB) 4 (2 players, 1 all-in)
Final Pot: 5.37 BB
-------------------------------------------------------
Hand2:
MP2 is a Rock, UTG a CS. Only call a rock-raise? (<2% PFR@100 hands) Protect flop? Didn't want to scare the call-station.
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is Button with A , Q .
UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 raises, MP3 folds, CO folds, Hero 3-bets, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls, MP2 calls.
Flop: (10.50 SB) 9 , 4 , 3 (3 players)
UTG checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, UTG calls.
Turn: (6.75 BB) 3 (3 players)
UTG bets, MP2 calls, Hero raises, UTG calls, MP2 calls.
River: (12.75 BB) 2 (3 players)
UTG bets, MP2 calls, Hero raises, UTG calls, MP2 calls.
Final Pot: 18.75 BB

Hand 3:
Raise turn and drop vs re-raise?
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is CO with T , T .
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, Hero raises, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls.
Flop: (4.50 SB) 3 , 2 , 6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.
Turn: (3.25 BB) 7 [color:#0000FF](2 players)[/color]
BB bets, Hero calls.
River: (5.25 BB) 7 (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.
Final Pot: 7.25 BB
---------------------------------------------------------------
Hand 4:
Check-call river? I was thinking spade-draw or weak ace at best.
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (8 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is SB with A , K .
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO folds, Button folds, Hero raises, BB calls.
Flop: (4 SB) 2 , A , Q (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.
Turn: (3 BB) K (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.
River: (5 BB) T (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls.
Final Pot: 9 BB
-----------------------------------------------------
Hand 5:
Flop or drop-hand. MP1 is sLAgg-A, MP2 is a rock, SB cold-calls a lot and BB is LAggy, so I hoped for at least one call there. Still too low EV to cold-call with 4-5 players going to the flop? Risky 3-bet with the possible flushdraw?
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is Button with T , J .
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 raises, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO folds, Hero calls, SB folds, BB calls.

River: (10.25 BB) 8 (4 players)
BB checks, MP1 checks, MP2 bets, Hero raises, BB folds, MP1 folds, MP2 calls.
Final Pot: 14.25 BB
-----------------------------------------------------
I'm weary of PFR:ing this kind of hand with a lot of loose players ahead? Check-fold the flop?
Hand 6:
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 7 , 7 .

Flop: (7.50 SB) J , K , 9 (3 players)
Hero bets, MP2 raises, Button calls, Hero folds.
Turn: (6.25 BB) 4 (2 players)

River: (8.25 BB) J (2 players)

Final Pot: 9.25 BB
/Thnx

Hand 1: Fold pre-flop
Hand 2: Raise the flop!
Hand 3: I usually just call it down too
Hand 4: River is cute...
Hand 5: 3-bet for a free card... hmm... with the flush draw out I just call
Hand 6: I play it the same

Hand 1: Yeah, but as I'm stuck in it - keep playing or just say: "Well, that was a bad move" and fold? The pot is quite small too...
Hand 2: On the flop I may lose UTG, which'll put me at 50% pot contribution with possible ~30% pot eq. On the turn both will call, but since pot eq's still lower than PC it strikes me that - theoretically - I should just call this one all the way on pretty much zero EV?
Hand 3: Call it down even at, let's say 5/10, 15/30? River is scarier than the turn, and the pot is sort of small?
Hand 4: Probably carrying a weak ace or 2p, so since it happens quite rarely I thought I'd have some fun. A bummer if he holds JT of spades though!
Hand 5: On the flop I have 25-33% pot contribution with pot eq above 1:3 (if noone holds the diamonds!) Let's say that noone has 2 diamonds in the hole (it doesn't looks like MP1 is carrying, BB might), betting out on turn will probably leave me with 1:2 PC. "Hidden" draws are nice for extra bets :P
Am I getting the theory right?

Preflop fold, Post flop you really don't have $hit on the flop here so you should fold. ATo is a misleading hand, it looks SOOO good, but it's very easily dominated.

Zero EV on a flush draw? No way. You should raise the flop here to get the money in the pot faster, so your opponents are dedicated to their made, second best hands. If you called the flop, you definately dont want to raise the turn. You only have 1 card to go, granted, you hit your flush and the pot was nice, but usually you raise the flop here and then slow it down on the turn when your flush didn't hit.

good play, he might have the flush, he might have a 7, but you will win this hand more than you will lose it. You call here just because you have odds to do so.

Interesting check river raise, I would be more inclined to bet out here, all he needs is a J to beat you. So if he raises you then you know you are beat, but should still make a crying call. A check raise automatically puts you in for 2 bets, if he had the jack he would raise you again and you would have lost another. Also, by checking, you risk the chance of gaining a bet. The only possible good thing checking does here is induce a bluff, which, if he didn't have a J, was a good play because he might have just folded for 1 bet. This play is questionable at best.

First off, fold preflop. JTo should not be cold called for 2 bets anywhere. By the time you had the option of staying in the hand, there were only 2 other players in, MAYBE make this call if UTG raised and its been called around the table. Secondly, I like your flop play, I also like your turn play. Free card here is the correct strategy. You werent trying to buy a free card on the flop, but you did anyway and heck, take it. It also looks like you are on a diamond draw, so when that 8c hits on the river, you can pop them for an extra bet. Good Play post flop, but fold preflop.

Hand 2: As said, the reason to not bet the flop and raise the turn was mainly to build the pot as large as possible. This is probably a leak, since I might be focusing to much on winning a big pot and not protecting my draw. (SSH 158-159) Value-betting the turn is also flawed since the chances to improve has lessened quite a bit.
Hand 4: Very much read-dependant. No pr0n-surfing here 8-)
Hand 5: Yeah, fold post-flop. The idea of that if they hit, I might hit bigger isn't very clever since they probably hold a large amount of my outs. Luckily the lower end came to the rescue!
