I cap the river in hand 1. Not a lot beats your boat. lokks like a raggy 8 to me.
I cap the flop in hand 2, then call down if donked into on the turn. You have the best hand often here...
The rest I play the same.
Hand 4 looks like a standard line for a pocket pair.

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

Hand 1:
I like the cap because I think he's good here often enough to raise, but a 5-bet would suck.
Hand 2:
I also like calling the 3-bet and raising the turn. Quite often this is some donk pushing a draw.
Hand 3:
Given how silly people get in blind wars and the lower risk of a better hand 3-betting the river, do you guys raise that river? What range do you put the BB on after capping the turn?
Looking at his play, my overall impression is that the downswing has him missing bets. For god sakes, stay away from a 6 max table until you fix this!
Hand 4:
I smelled a rat, but with KJ, what can you do? He could be bluffing with the best hand! Also, I looked at his stats and it did look a lot like 2x 55-88.

Except for hand 1 in which I would cap the river I like his play here.
That hand he raised you off with if you had an A you should probably call down.

hand 1: you guys are right. at the time i was thinking, shit i have bottom set, i think i lost. but then i forgot that if someone beat me with a higher set they woulda showed themselves on the turn.
hand 2: generally i don't like capping with just top pair, and calling down seems to let them bluff their draw the entire way, making more money, or save me bets if they hit some weird ass 2 pair (which is what happened here on the turn)
hand 3: what can i say...the check/raise/cap scared the crap outta me.
hand 4: 66
hand 5: who raises the flop instead here for a free card? who follows up with the turn bet to try and fold them?
btw, i've steered clear of 6max tables because i started running bad there. moved down from 3/6 cuz i was just breaking even. and now at 2/4 full i'm on a -100BB swing

Hand 3 raise the river? I don't see why not.
Hand 5 don't raise preflop. Middle position, crappy hand. Now that the flop gives an inside straight draw and NO overcards he's in trouble. Should have limped and THEN the multi-way flop would give enough value in calling. Here against a pair of kings he's getting 6.5-1 pot odds and a 10.5-1 shot to make the straight on the turn. Now that he hits a jack he's STILL behind but he has a reason to stay in the hand. I'd fold the flop. If I decided to stay in I'm raising the turn.
