I am getting back into playing full ring limit after having another weak month at PLO.

#1

Limper is quite tight. Only note on the BB is that he called down AQ all the way on a raggy board against a guy who 3bet preflop. How's my line? I was going to bet/raise any non-spade, or check/fold if the 4th spade comes.

Edit: for some reason the converter deleted one of the players (the MP limper)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, T.
3 folds, MP calls, 3 folds, Hero calls, 2 folds, BB raises, MP calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) J, 7, A (2 players)
BB bets, MP folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) 3 (2 players)
BB bets, Hero raises...

#2

Standard against a guy with stats of 25/21/6.00 ? (fairly small sample size)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K, K.
2 folds, MP2 calls, Hero raises, 2 folds, SB calls, BB calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (8.00 SB) 7, A, 3 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, SB folds, BB calls, MP2 folds.

Turn: (5.00 BB) 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

River: (5.00 BB) A (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

#3

Standard against a 13/5/1.85? (over quite a few hands). To me his flop check reeked of strength. Preflop I'd imagine his range as something like TT+/AK/AQs

Cryptologic 2.00/4.00 Hold'em (10 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q, Q.
Hero raises, 3 folds, CO 3-bets, 3 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 3, J, K (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks.

Turn: (3.75 BB) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero folds.

#4

Another hand against a tighty. Stats of 10/7/4.00. Preflop I am sure this is JJ+/AK. Should I have bet the turn? My reasoning was that if he has KK/JJ I save 2 bets to show it down, or perhaps get a call from QQ on the end. On the river I will either call or bet if he checks.

Cryptologic 2.00/4.00 Hold'em (10 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A, A.
UTG raises, Hero 3-bets, 5 folds, UTG caps, Hero calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) K, T, 2 (2 players)
UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG calls.

Turn: (6.75 BB) J (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

hand 3: cap preflop. horrible turn fold.

I can't see a guy with a 5% PFR 3betting an UTG bet with anything less than TT+/AQ+ here. On the turn all I am beating is perhaps pocket 10's or AQ. When this guy checked the flop, to me it screamed KK/AK. I am only getting 4.5:1 on my turn call, and there is a good chance that I'm not even drawing live with my Qd.

Plus if I call on the turn I will have to check the river and he will get a chance to either bet if he has me beat or check behind if he doesn't. Negative implied odds out the ass there.

Probably true.

i think you're relying too much on the stats. being OOP does make the hand a lot harder to play profitably. i just don't like how you gave up in the hand so easily.

Hand 1 is significantly easier to play if you raise preflop, because BBs action will define his hand.

Hand 2 is fine.

Hand 3, if your read is that he wont 3bet you with weaker, alright you know him we dont, but just call it down. The fold is bad, you have odds to call.

Hand 4 I'm ok with your turn check as long as youre autocalling the river.
