Even a NL donk like Fnord could make money at these tables. This is a typical slow Monday night at PS.

Comments welcome. I probably missed half a dozen bets by not believing my opponents could be so stupid.

1) MP is something like 70/14/0.5, rarely aggressive, but without fail aggressive in the wrong places. SB never folds a pair. Ever.

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T, Q.
1 fold, MP calls, 2 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (3 SB) 8, 7, 9 (3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, MP raises, SB calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 6 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP bets, SB calls, Hero raises, MP 3-bets, SB calls, Hero calls.

River: (13.50 BB) 6 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP checks.

Final Pot: 13.50 BB

Results
SB has 3h 6d (three of a kind, sixes).
Hero has Ts Qc (straight, ten high).
MP has Js 2c (a pair of sixes).
Outcome: Hero wins 13.50 BB.

2) Let's open-limp on the button with Q3!

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is SB with T, Q.
3 folds, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (3 SB) Q, 6, 5 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, Button bets, Hero raises, BB folds, Button calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

River: (5.50 BB) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Final Pot: 7.50 BB

Results
Hero has Tc Qs (one pair, queens).
Button has Qd 3h (one pair, queens).
Outcome: Hero wins 7.50 BB.

3) Villian is something like 60/35/2.5, and acts like everyone else is too. I really should played this harder.

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J, J.
1 fold, MP raises, CO 3-bets, 1 fold, Hero caps, 1 fold, MP calls, CO calls.

Flop: (13 SB) A, T, J (3 players)
Hero bets, MP calls, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, MP folds, CO caps, Hero calls.

Turn: (11 BB) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.

River: (13 BB) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero raises, CO calls.

Final Pot: 17 BB

Results
Hero has Js Jd (full house, jacks full of sixes).
CO has Kh Kd (two pair, kings and sixes).
Outcome: Hero wins 17 BB.

4) BB is actually one of the 'better' players. For some reason my river donk doesn't make him stop and think with his top two.

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, 8.
2 folds, CO calls, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) Q, T, 6 (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, CO checks, Button bets, Hero calls, BB raises, CO folds, Button 3-bets, Hero calls, BB caps, Button calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (8 BB) 8 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Button calls, Hero calls.

River: (11 BB) 8 (3 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, Button folds, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 15 BB

Results
Hero has 9c 8d (three of a kind, eights).
BB has Qs Th (two pair, queens and tens).
Outcome: Hero wins 15 BB.

Since when are these LHE games at PS so donktacular? I played some 2/4 and 3/6 there ~2 years ago and they were fairly tight/aggressive.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Actually it's funny because 3/6 always seemed really Taggy up until about six months ago. But now there always seem to be three or four good 3/6 games going on and one or two 5/10. Once in a while there's a good 10/20 game too.

My mind has been blown. If I had any decent way of getting more cash on stars (I think I only have like $300 at the moment) I would probably try it out again..

i am surprised YOU took the turn off in hand 3.

and, isnt hand 4 a bit loose, even as bad as they seemed?

1 and 2 have to be standard.

and, i agree that limit is back. i think the fish are getting sick of losing money so fast at NL, but dont want to quit. so, they load up a limit table and lose it all slower where they can fill their "fix" with bursts of variance heaters.

kind of like smashing a 300 yd drive down the middle on the 18th hole. that has a funny way of making you want to play 36. (live golf is so rigged)

Gave him too much credit on 3. A sensible player might realise he's behind when he's 3bet on an AJT board and he has KK. When he caps me I put him on AA, AJ, AT, or KQ. I'm behind more than half of those, so I don't relish getting 3bet on the turn. Once the 6 pairs on the river I'm only behind AA. I could lead out but villian is aggressive enough to bet/call pretty much anything here so I go for the c/r.

On 4, any 7 or J gives me a straight so I'm willing to put in as many bets on the flop as needed.
