Just a bit of a tale here. I entered my first 7CS HiLo tourney yesterday -- a $10 buyin at stars w/208 entrants.

ITM I was in the top ten. 1st was $572, but not to be I guess. Accidentally clicked the "raise" button instead of "fold" 'cause I was fiddling with the baby, and at this point BB were 10% of my stack. So there went about half of it. Ick.

Now for my question: Dang! I don't know this game very well, but the competition in this tourney seemed Soft.

Soft.

Soft.

I made two enormous mistakes and still got ITM, because a couple people were making enormous mistakes on every hand. Your thoughts?

I have never tried a tournament, but I have ITM about every 7stud hi/lo SnG I have ever been in. I dont play them that often, maybe once a 1 week. Maybe I will give the tournament a shot.
Field mice are fast, but owls can see in the dark.
