Look at the board. What hand are you raising with that wants to weak bet the whole way? Bet the turn a little stronger, you *may* be able to represent AT or KT but dump it on the river.

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

I was trying to keep it in context with the blind

Flop being 4xs BB and turn being 5xs...should I have upped it to 10x?

You were betting without paying attention to the board. You should have made it 50, 80, 150. Or 50, 80 and then dump. No sense commiting chips on a bluff on the first hand. You don't know how thin the guy will call you down.

Apparently, really thin.

I agree with you. I am just trying some different things in the MTT. Don't want to just be happy with ITM. Trying to be more aggressive.

Thanks for the tips!

Trying plays like this so early in a tourney is an Unnecessary risk.

Right now EVERONE's stack is 1500, and blinds 10/20
You have 75Big Blinds right now. That is more than enough to fold a few rotations and be in no worse shape than anyone else.

Save bluffs for later in the tourney when the chips really matter.
