Hand 2:

Should I have 3 bet the flop ?? Everytime I get raised, i start worrying about 2 pair these days !! I went in betting-raising mode after the turn paired nullifying the obvious 2 pair J-Q in my mind.

Hand 1: When someone plays the flop fast, I'm less inclined to give them credit fro trips. That turn card sucked. Well played.

Hand 2: Very well played. I'm more concerned about straight draws with a QJx flop.

On hand 2, why not pop another bet on the Flop?

Given the pre-flop action, I would have ruled out anyone with AK/QQ, or JJ as I would have expected a re-raise.

Any thoughts?
If you put all your faith in the river, you are up shit's creek

Hand 1 I agree, but also keep in mind that fish will raise the jack all day on the flop. They have no concept of concealment. The flip side of that is what actually happened. A fish was trying to push you out with nada.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I strongly disagree. 9 times out of 10 they wait for the turn unless they can raise behind a bet and several calls. A raise to isolate the bettor like that is almost always a hand worse than Jx. Jx doesn't want to kill his action.
