I'm a NL player and I've been playing some limit lately...trying to convert.
In NL games (specifically at party), there are differences at each limit. 25NL and 50NL are basically the same type of play, but 50NL is tighter. 100NL is looser but players are more sophisticated, etc.
I've been playing .5/1 and 1/2 6-max at party. I ran incredibly well at .5/1, and my bankroll was already quite large from playing NL, so I moved right up to 1/2 after a few thousand hands running at 6BB/100.
1/2 hasn't been as good to me, I'm more like a .83BB/100 winner, and I swing a lot harder.
Is there a noticeable difference between these limits? IMHO the level of play is horrid at both except here and there. Hardly anyone is playing what I'd call optimally.
So basically my question is where are the gaps in skill?

1/2 and 2/4 are about the same. lots of LAPs, pretty easy games. 3/6 the games get a little worse, and you seem to run into a lot more aggro people. I haven't played much 5/10, but it seems like games aren't too difficult overall, but you will run into a lot more good players (probably like $100NL)

Well 0.5/1 6 max is full of complete dumb asses that don't know what to do with there own dick with a chick... 
1/2 is basically the same but they get just stupid Argo more at 1/2 it seems over at pty from the .5/1 game... I actually play the 1/2 6 max games a lot at various sites currently, party by far has the highest Lagg factor... Stars I would say is next, then probably PokerRoom and one out from there...
Whatever you do DON’T try and push 1/2 6max players @ party off there hands because they’re not folding any pair..
Post some hands you might have questions about I’m sure I can respond with my ideas... and other here could too... you have the resources at your finger tips USE IT!
