8/16 1/2 kill at my favorite fishing hole. I folded every hand the first two or three orbits after I sat. Then played a bunch of good hands fast for a quick rack.
3 players limp
I raise :Qc: :Jh: on the button because last time I raised dontators actually folded pre-flop and I'd like to rekindle that magic flame of distrust between us. I don't think either of the blinds fold and the limpers call out of turn.
6 to the flop.
:Kc: :Ks:
Checked to me and I bet because my table image sucks. Thinking Loose player who makes interesting Donk bets on the turn and calls down with hands that couldn't possibly be good with any amount of hand reading thinks about something, looks like he's going to maybe fold and calls. Everyone else acts like their cards have SARS.
Turn is
He checks and I check behind intending to call a river bet with any pair.
River is a blank, he checks and I tell him a pair is good. He looks at me funny. I give him that "I ain't got shit" look back. He picks up on the hint and tables his A8o.

Looks fine to me since it looks like he either has a tiny pocket pair (possibly a 4?) or chasing an ace. Anything that calls the flop is ahead of you, and from his description he's probably peeling on the turn again with the same hands.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Should we be more inclined or less inclined now we have outs against Kx?

Why is taking a free card bad? Anything he called us with on the flop is going to at least call on the turn. IMO the best result of 2 barrelling is that we get a free showdown. With Q high that is worth pretty much nothing.

This isn't my experience. Although this guy is a little on the stubborn side.

Yeah when you said he "shows down hands that can never be good" he sounds like the type to look you up all the way with a small pp/Ax on a board like this.

Kx is a small small small portion of his range, the rest of his range should be foldable including a large portion of it that has us beat (see:Ax)

Whether or not I bet this turn depends largely on my read of the player and what type of information his body language gives me. In this type of situation, he's usually either trapping you or making a loose flop call because he hopes the flop didn't help you and he can either win with any improvement or with ace high. Sometimes you can tell by his comfort level which is the case.
