Hand 1: Pre-flop is fine. Check/call or check/raise the flop, I think bet/call is a pretty bad line defending against a pre-flop 3-bet with top pair weak kicker.
Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (7 handed) converter
Preflop: Fnord is Button with 9 , K .
1 fold, MP1 calls, 2 folds, Fnord raises, 2 folds, MP1 calls.
Flop: (5.33 SB) 5 , 7 , 3 (2 players)
MP1 checks, Fnord bets, MP1 calls.
Turn: (3.66 BB) A (2 players)
MP1 checks, Fnord bets, MP1 calls.
River: (5.66 BB) 5 (2 players)
MP1 checks, Fnord checks.
Final Pot: 5.66 BB
Results in white below:
MP1 has 8c Tc (one pair, fives).
Fnord has 9s Kh (one pair, fives).
Outcome: Fnord wins 5.66 BB.
Hand 2: Well played.

Yea if you see the dates on those they are 18th and 21st, 3 days apart, never had a person hit a royal against me, but 2 times in 3 days is mind boggling... I must be a magnet for guys to make absolute fucking monsters against me this week... The K9o hand I fucked up bad, I don’t know what the hell I was only calling the flop for, should of raised there… I almost didn’t call the river bet because I knew he had the flush, but he said “I have the royal…” in the chat and I decided I would pay it off if it was true…

One or two hands won't ruin you in limit. Limit is all about the little hands that don't get posted. EVERY time I've looked at the PT database of a fairly reasonable player not doing well I've seen lots of little fundamental leaks bringing down the ship. Stuff like cold calling, regularly missing bets and folding ATo from CO one hand then limping it UTG the next.
If you want to improve your game, look for missed value bets, places you could have played a hand against a horrible player, getting reads, stealing pots, etc.
