I played two tables last night, one Limit Omaha hi-lo, the other NL hold 'em.

Did pretty well until I ran into:

hole cards Omaha: AsKcJsQc and I raise pre-flop
hole cards Hold 'em: JsTs and I limp pre-flop

Omaha flop comes JJT and I'm thinking "scoop!", and re-raise.

Check my hold 'em table, where I've hit top two pair with a JT on the board, raise the pot and get called.

Action gets pretty quick now, as we're down to heads up on both tables.

Omaha turn is another T, I'm thinking Full House Baby, and re-raise again, and quickly call the re-re-raise (sure,he could have quad tens, but what are the chances)!

Hold Em turn was a rag, river is an A, completing opponent's straight, he checks to trap, I check and see the bad news.

But I'm thinking, well-at least I've got the near nuts on my Omaha table

Omaha completes with heavy betting, and he shows JT in his hole cards. I'm like, crap all of that for a split. I just hung there in disbelief as I watched the chips go his way.

"heat62 has three of a kind (AsKcJsJhJd)"
"moreattentiveplayer has full house (JdJcThTdTs)"

What a newbie mistake!
