a b&m hand at 2-4$ here. No reads on anyone.

Hero gets AsKh in UTG

Preflop: Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls

Flop: Ks-Qh-5h
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls

Turn: Ks-Qh-5h-2d
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, CO calls, BB calls

River: Ks-Qh-5h-2d-2s
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP2 checks, CO checks, BB checks

UTG+1 mucks, MP2 mucks, CO shows A-5d, BB shows Q-10.

Hero wins.

If the board pairs the turn and river card (ie turn and river card are same). I should bet the river right. How many times will someone make the trips on the river ??

This is definitely different than the board pairing with middle pair on flop ie in this case the Q pairing. Then of course I am in trouble as people seem to be playing middle pair a lot. I would then check call.

but when the turn and river card are same should i still bet if there are 4 other players in the hand to make it a value bet ? and call if its raised after my bet.

thanks for your help

That was a GREAT river card for you, painfully easy river bet.

Bet the river, there are loads of worse hands out there waiting to call. The chances of someone holding a 2 is fairly low and it's unlikely you're behind to a full house or higher two pair given the action on previous streets. The only hand that I could possibly see you losing to here is K5.

This really depends on what card pairs and what the other cards are, also how your opponents play. But in this situation where a low unimportant card pairs on the turn and river it has little effect on the strength of your hand.

Call a raise.
