All these 3 hands are from $9-$18 B&M yesterday.

Its not a bad beat post. I will happily take those cards and the flops all the time..just need an honest assessment if i needed to slow down on any streets. In my opinion, i thought not reraising in Hand 1 was the only big mistake i did among all those hands

Even with these 3 beats, i still ended up for the night (just by a little...). That teaches me to keep playing powerhouse hands and play them aggressively . Almost every other pots are raised at this limit and so values of drawing hands goes way down because a lot of pots are fought 3 ways.

Hand 1:

I made a big mistake not re-raising with this hand. I re-raise with this hand almost always but I had great respect for MP1 who is a very aggressive but also a tight player (not as tight as me though). so i thought i might have been dominated and wanted enough callers should i flop a draw

Hero is As-Qs in MP2.
Preflop: UTG+1 calls, MP1 raises, Hero calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: Ad-7d-5c
Hero bets, CO calls, BB calls.

Turn: Ad-7h-5c-Qh
Hero bets, BB calls

River: Ad-7h-5c-Qh-5s
Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls

BB shows Jh-5h

cant blame BB for staying there, he even picked up the flush draw. He gets the Kill pot for the very next hand 2

Hand 2: Kill Pot $18-$36

Hero is Q-Q for UTG+1
Preflop:
Hero raises, CO calls, SB (kill button) calls (BB from previous hand)

Flop: J-9-9 suit not important
Hero bets, CO calls, SB calls

Turn: J-9-9-J
Hero bets, SB calls

River: J-9-9-J-J
Hero bets, SB raises, Hero calls.

SB shows JQ0

I thought that what are the odds that SB got a J or a 9 this time. I thought maybe he thought that he was going to chop with an Ace or something. was my aggression a stupid move on this hand. its heads up so figured why not bet

Hand 3: Hero is AA in UTG+1

Preflop: hero raises, Mp1 calls, CO calls, Button calls, BB calls.

Flop: J-7-7
Hero bets, MP1 calls,Button calls

Turn: J-7-7-9
Hero bets, button calls

River: J-7-7-9-Q
Hero bets, button raises, hero calls

Button shows J-7

well i guess i took this hand too far. but i am getting paid off by chasers on this game so much that i usually dont slow down if very few players on the flop even if the board is paired

if there 4-5 players stayed on the flop i would check and fold (to raise)..or check call definitely.

Hand 2 is a pretty easy river fold against a straight-forward opponent. Anything that hits that board has you smoked.

Really? Considering now you have a fairly strong hand that only AA and KK beat realistically. You just sucked out any lamo with a 9 and the likelihood of the villain having the case J without raising previously is slim. Some idiots are going to have Ace high here more than often hoping to split the pot.

His play looks fine on all hands.

Yeah, 9x no good. Have to call to see the Jack.

I don't recall ever playing a full-house board like that, hence the misread...

So Jeff and Fnord,

Should i check call the river on Hand 2 and 3 or river bets still ok there ? No good reads on villains except they are loose fish, cold call a wide range of hands.

I am still betting the river on hand 1 correct ?
