I'll go HU with people I know I can easily stack.

Since I started Propping I play HU almost always if I don't know the player to above average.
Also made me starting to open new tables on "normal" sites when I don't see one that I like.

It depends on the players. Usually I leave a table or sit out when it gets down to 3-handed (so 4-handed is normally the mody shorthanded I will go), but against very weak players (or predictible players), where my edge is large enough, I will stay even if it gets down to HU. I don't like playing 2- or 3-handed against mediocre opponents, even if I have an edge; it's just too much of a crapshoot to make the variance worthwhile, especially when you factor in rake.

I enjoy playing short handed but at medium to low stakes the rake is just too high to play HU (and even 3 handed), so if the other player(s) is tight post flop i dont bother (the type you have to grind down).
