So I'm at the local poker room here and UTG raises and im not paying attention and limp in with q10c's. My friend behind me folds right away so im commited for 2 bets although i mucked my hand...The dealer gave me my hand back anyways since I hadnt thrown it that far in the muck....The flop comes 2s, 4s, 7c....UTG bets as I am about to fold my friend whispers to me "Dude I think the dealer gave you my hand"...I look down and its the 3s,5s....I call and we both kinda just laugh....Turn comes As....We both just start laughing as the K high flush is raising me and the UTG donk is still calling with his K's....Ship it....I coulda gotten at least 6 bets out of the K high if we werent laughing so hard....Just wondering if anyone thinks that they could keep a straight face in this situation?

Yeah, keep it in your pants. Funny yes, but cheating nontheless. Yes, the dealer gave you the wrong hand back, but you knowlingly played it to showdown. Lucky that you won and got signifigant action, but if the floor found out what happened they'd probably kick you and your buddy out. Not to mention that UTG probably thought (Along with the rest of the table) that you were laughing AT him, which is bad table manners.
You better have tipped that dealer a few red chips for that one!

If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

This dealer should be reprimanded. The other players at the table were fools for not demanding that your hand be declared dead.
