UTG was solid 16/6 over 100 hands or so.
Not sure about my play on the turn. Any comments ?

Nothing you can do, if he's got ya he's got ya. You can't really cap the turn because his bet 3bet screams strength, but you've got 10 outs on the river.

No way to play it differently.

I thought you were in the "don't raise" camp... or maybe call the turn and raise the river?

FWIW, I play it the same.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

No, thats a shitty card, and I want to know if I get threebet or not. Waiting for the river ain't horrible tho

FWIW, villain could be pumping his royal draw.

Waiting for the river is interesting here. It might actually save you a bet when youre behind.

Ok my eyes decived me when i first read the op. For some reason i thought they were first to act. After the tight utg player bets I would call but i guess it depends exactly how tight you think they are.

I strongly disagree with the river raise instead of the turn. It does not save a single bet.
But if it appears you imrove on the river to FH you lose all the missed turn bets.
