I ended a small session tonight thinking about why seat selection is so important in limit games, not just hold'em. If you're playing at a table with an aggressive player on your right and guys who defends their blinds on your left, you are going to have problems unless the cards run real hot.
So it got me thinking about something that was mentioned probably 2 years ago here, the ideal table is having tight opponents in the blinds when you're the button, and loose passives on your right. You won't have to defend your blinds much because you know the LPs have a strong hand to raise with, and the tight blinds will just donate money to your position plays.

Yup, the ideal table has 3 people with >50%VPIP and no aggression on your right and 3 people with <10%VPIP on your left.

at 6m you can make money with even one manic to your right and the rest the table is tight... but 2-3 bad players to your right and the rest tight to your left, preferably tight players that don't defend all the much and when they do they play post flop poorly...
