following up on another question recently asked...

all i have for the hand in question (hand two) is hand one as a read. i suspected the villain in hand one is a bit of a station, and kind of got confirmation with him calling me down so lightly when i held QQ. of course the "read" itself is suspect because he was the poster, i see...lol. so, here is hand one...

PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q
2 folds, CO (poster) checks, 1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, CO (poster) calls

Flop: (5 SB) J, K, 3 (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls

Turn: (3.5 BB) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls

River: (5.5 BB) K (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls

Total pot: $3.75 (7.5 BB) | Rake: $0.15
villain shows 82o!

now, did i miss a bet on hand two on the river? i am focusing more on isolation today than maxxing value on late streets. but, i cant help but think i whiffed on one here...

PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8, 8

Flop: (7.4 SB) 4, 10, 7 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets, MP calls

Turn: (4.7 BB) 3 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets, MP calls

River: (6.7 BB) Q (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks

Total pot: $3.35 (6.7 BB) | Rake: $0.15

and here is one just for fun. i didnt think i was anywhere near good here. villain is actually who i am after on this table. i switched seats specifically for him. he runs about 45/40/4 over a small sample, but could be way more maniacal based on what i had seen up to here...

apparently, you dont need cards to play this game. you just need a nice river.

hand2.

I would cap pf, but push on the breaks if he goes berserk on flop (wether he may have a bigger pair or whiffed AK is the point)

As played, i dont mind the check behind too much, as he could be on overs and the Q may have hit him. Still, u know me, any McSpewtard would bet for value expecting to be called many many times by Ahi or a smaller pair.
Of course, calling a c/r (at least to know what he had with such a weird line) if it comes to that. If SD, take notes!

Hand 3. I dont like the flop action at all. Much better to call, call, call, and pop if u hit str8, call down on any pair. Cause if u whiff turn and river, u dont have any SD value to call him down, so i'd rather keep the pot as small as possible while i got nothin (against a maniac)

As played, insta call river.

i didnt like the flop in the third hand, either. it wasnt exactly intentional and had a full BB of spew in it. i wanted to raise to see if i could surprise him and maintain initiative for a free turn, and i got carried away when he 3bet. i felt he would lead the turn, if i didnt raise the flop and charge me more than i really wanted to pay to see a river card. as a result, i charged myself more than i wanted to pay. but, i got very lucky.

i also wanted to cap 88 pf. and, i didnt want a c/r on that club. i dont see c/r's on one pair hands down here. and, they arent bluffs 90% of the time, either. makes it easy to see just how much of my winnings come from players WAY worse than me.

hand 2. A limp-3bet is usually either a huge hand or something retarded. Once he c/cs the flop and turn I'm assuming the latter. He could have AK or 22 or whatever. Yeah I bet the river here, not much chance he has a Q or flush.

hand 3. Raising the flop is tempting against someone who might just be taking a random stab and fold. But really it seems hard to imagine a hand he's going to fold here on such a drawy board. Capping the flop is molton spew. I prolly just call the flop and fold the turn. You can try raising the turn because if he doesn't have an Ace or a pair he will probably fold, depending on his level of maniacalness.
