I don't see how a call-down could be +EV vs. my flop c/c turn c/r range there

are you bet/calling Ax on the turn+river as it's effectively the same hand as TT

C/c the flop, c/r the turn is a bad way to play Kx, 6x because there's too many hands I'll check behind on the turn. I gave you credit for A high, a small pp, or two cards higher than a 6.

I figured you wouldn't call the turn with air and if you did have Kx, 6x, I didn't want to put in two bets with a 2 outter, so i checked behind to induce a bluff from you on the river.

Once you check the river, I'm confident you don't have a K, 6, or 4 because you would lead out to get calls from A high or worse. It's an easy b/c imo.

Ax on that board is a bluff catcher and I check behind because I expect very few worse hands to call - maybe a worse Ace. I mean you're not going to call the turn with Q high...Also it keeps the pot small and keeps me from getting possibly bluffed off the best hand or at least one that has some outs.

The plan then is to call any river donk or check behind UI.

Once the river pairs the board i bet A high or a pair > 4s on the river if it's checked to me, expecting a call from pretty much atc. I don't like getting c/rd there but I still call bullshit on it.

If i'm you I c/r Kx, 6x on the flop because the board is dry and I expect to get called down light with my (your) image.

If I'm you and I have 4x, I'm never checking that river because it's too easy for villian to have Q high or worse and just check behind hoping for a split.

If I'm you with A high I donk the river because it's hard for villian to raise with any hand that checked behind on the turn, and you might get crying calls from Q high or worse.

If I'm you with J8s I might call the river bet. The c/r is too implausible imo for the reasons i gave above.

I felt you were betting Ax or air on the end, much more weighted towards Ax b/c I'm pretty certain you barrel air on the turn.

I was also thinking you're betting 77-QQ on the turn therefore making your river betting range pretty weak and although I almost just called with my hand I felt I was getting you off a chop a lot and I was quite surprised when you showed me better than ace high.

Yeah a hand like JT, 98, etc. i definitely fire again on the turn. Me bluffing into that board on the river is a bit like bluffing into a 56789 board imo - i mean who am I kidding?

I think there's more value in checking behind the turn with TT-QQ on such a dry board. Folding a 3 outter (I assume since no 3bet preflop) in a small pot gains you less compared to the value of inducing bluffs or getting loose calls on the river. With 77-99 I'm a little more worried about my opponent having a 6 outter that i would like him to fold and probably bet to balance out the times i have Kx, AA, or garbage.

You could be up against the tightest player on the face of the earth... and should STILL never fold this here, EVER EVER EVER in a limit game.

Worst suckout of the night? lol. I am Hero and CO is Roy4lPl4yor (lance!). I loved my smooth call of the 3bet preflop. It is probably one of my favorite plays, though usually I like to do it in position when heads up. My turn donk bet was to rep a hand like 88/AK that didn't want KQ/clubs/Ax to draw for free. It also gets in a nice 3bet when the villain holds AJ/QQ+ and raises it.

PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A, A
2 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, CO 3-bets, 3 folds, Hero calls

Flop: (7.4 SB) J, 5, 10 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls

Turn: (4.7 BB) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, CO calls

River: (10.7 BB) 10 (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero calls

Total pot: $7.35 (14.7 BB) | Rake: $0.35

Results:
Hero mucked A, A (two pair, Aces and tens).
CO had A, 10 (three of a kind, tens).
Outcome: CO won $7

LOL!

Is Chopper the super tight/ weakish? Sounds like you thought he would never raise that turn w/out it?
